3rd album by Auriferous Flame. The songs here are very much in line with second-wave black metal, recalling Emperor or early Satyricon with sprawling arrangements and some moody interludes. It’s explosive in it passion and storming in its black/thrashing intensity, but also remarkably elaborate, technically eye-popping, and at times surprisingly atmospheric.
