Compared to the band's debut, it was already a bit more diverse Whiplash release, this time with a clearly better and sharper production. Anyhow, songwise the differences are minor.

Debut album by Acrophet. This is total speedcore with straightforward, hasty riffs and simple shouts for vocals. The vocals are quite unpolished and perfect because they conserve the rawness of the thrash metal with just a hint of hardcore but they are not childish at all. In general, what we have here is a great mix of hardcore with Bay Area thrash.

This is the 1st 'Ep by Protector. It is a totally shattering experience, the first couple of tracks attacking the listener with such intensity that you'll have a hard time trying to recover afterwards. Most of the songs contain doomy mid sections ala Celtic Frost or Hellhammer, along with blurry sounding black metal riffing throughout most of the songs.

2nd album by Rage. They have advanced their sound a good deal further, increasing complexity in song structures and introducing extra elements resulting in an album that's something like a mixture of Judas Priest and Helloween. There is the usual complement of speed metal songs, but the song arrangements are much more interesting, with a few really nice thrash breaks thrown in for effect, as well as some of the more melodic stuff that Rage would be known for on later works.
