10th album by Converge. It is actually a collaboration album with Chelsea Wolfe, comprised of 11 dark, brooding post-metal songs. Despite the dark, horrifying settings and atmospheres it evokes, it is a very enjoyable album. Existing Chelsea Wolfe fans should love it. Converge fans may find it more problematic due to the comparative slowness of many of the songs and the abundance of clean vocals, but the band haven’t traded in their trademark aggression for crooning.

5-track 'Ep by Dura Mater, a group consisting of Matt (vocals, Kemerov, ex-Sicks Daze), Nick (guitars, vocals, ex-Asphodel), Spyros (bass, ex-Violet Vortex) and Kostas (drums, Diavolos, ex-Nightfall, ex-Soulskinner). The group managed to infuse many influences, many ideas and different genres in only five songs. The variety of tempos, speed and vocal delivery, create an atmosphere that is not tiring and dares to successfully blend genres.
