6th album by Cruachan. It is a deliberate step backwards to their roots, but still contains enough influences and various instruments used in their previous works. It has its moments of extremity, moments of melody, of heaviness and plenty of Celtic folk music. Keith Fay remains as the main singer of the band after the departure of Karen Gilligan and lyrics of the album are written and sang totally in English language.

6th album by Moonsorrow. The album takes the shape of 4 large epics varying between 11 and 17 minutes in length, divided by 3 smaller instrumental pieces. As can be expected from Moonsorrow, each of these epics is majestic and atmospheric, conjuring a deep but some what depressing image through its music. The band has slowed down in tempo, that much is clear, but the record still makes room for folky passages with mandolins and bouzouki, interweaving with acoustic and distorted guitars.

5th album by Falkenbach. Being that their last release, 'Heralding the Fireblade', was a rerecording of the old demo material, they haven’t released new material since 2003. The instrumentation used is the same as his previous albums, that being the metal outfit and a handful of folk instruments. The element of folk is smore present this time, leaving less space for the black metal element.
