Debut album by Scythe, a project formed by Rick Scythe (ex-Usurper, ex-The Dead Youth). Rick is heavily influenced by Celtic Frost and that sound is here very much so. This release brings on some of the best parts of thrash, death, black, doom and even hard rock. In addition, the vocals vary from high-pitched screams to low end growls to even a dark clean vocal, which brings a nice dynamic of varying sounds.
