2nd album by The Wretched End, featuring Samoth (ex-Emperor, ex-Zyklon), Cosmo (Scum) and Nils Fjellström (Dark Funeral, ex-Aeon). The music here is mostly death metal, although it's enriched with enough black metal influences and enough thrash parts here and there. The album is filled with a heavy and somewhat mechanic sound that reinforces the overall cold and dystopian atmosphere.

With its 8th album, Impiety is presenting us their version of relentless blasting blackened death thrash. The death metal elements that Impiety are known for are a little more subdued with Ravage & Conquer, the album taking a more thrash approach, which is even overshadowing much of the blackened elements. Brutal, technical in times, blasphemic.
