The 5th album by Hammers Of Misfortune continues with the band’s defiantly original blend of metal. With a newly-rejuvenated line-up and their signature sound intact, they have returned with a brash song cycle, blending the best elements of NWOBHM, thrash, doom metal and american folk music while somehow sounding unlike any of these. New vocalist Joe Hutton adds something fresh to the band with his distinctive vocals and the use of piano/keys are much more present.

Debut album by Testament. It was quite a polished effort in its time and one of the better debut albums ever. The songs are full of solid, memorable riffs and creative solos and although the music is basically straightforward and very energetic thrash metal with a strong attitude, there are lots of fine touches in it.
