2. Ice Road Trucker vs. The Sun
3. Don?t Step Back
4. Beyond The Purple Pipes
5. Green Machine Laser Beam
6. Sergeant P Of The 23

10. Captain Quick And The Pirates
11. Call Your Friends To Hang Out
12. Don?t Waste Time ? Get Wasted (Now!)
13. No Beer ? What A Mess (Radio Edit)
14. No Followers ? No Leaders
15. Princess Of Gorleben
16. Guts.Gore.Reactor.Core.

2nd album by The Prophecy 23. Groovier than their previous album and with the addition of death metal growls (including pig squeels!!). A nice mix of thrash and crossover with a very good production, with lots of power, but yet a clean modern sound with just the right amount of roughness to it.

Blizzard - Fuck The Universe

Genre: Thrash'n'Roll/Speed
Country: Germany
Year: 2012

1. Beyond Live
2. My Name Is Pain
3. Spit In The Devils Eye
4. Darkriders
5. Into The Fires Of Purgatory
6. Satan In Her Soul
7. Fuck The Universe
8. Damnator
9. Hotter Than Hell
10. Through Different Eyes

4th album by Blizzard. The music here is standard speed metal with thrash elements and the necessary rock'n'roll vibe. The production is more clear than needed and Atze speaks and yells instead of singing! Nevertheless, you can find entertaining songs in here.

Mudbath - Red Desert Orgy 'Ep

Genre: Sludge/Doom/Hardcore
Country: France
Year: 2012

1. Loserwood
2. Mudjahideen
3. Smells Like Teen Cunt

A killer 'Ep that was sent to us by the band itself. Mudbath are combining heavy/doom guitarwork, sludgy dirty attitude and a blackened hardcorish vocal delivery. 3 tracks, just under 22 minutes, of a wall of riffing.

Vio-Lence - Eternal Nightmare

Genre: Thrash
Country: U.S.A.
Year: 1988

1. Eternal Nightmare
2. Serial Killer
3. Phobophobia
4. Calling In The Coroner
5. T.D.S. (Take It As You Will)
6. Bodies On Bodies
7. Kill On Command

Debut album by Vio-Lence, featuring the first steps of Robb Flynn and Phil Demmel, both in Machine Head. It is highly regarded in almost every thrash circle alive and rightfully so. All of the songs display a strong sense of fast and heavy riffing along with some insane solos. Another highlight is Sean Killian's vocals, that is a love it or hate it situation.

Tristwood - Dystopia Et Disturbia

Genre: Black/Death/Industrial
Country: Austria
Year: 2010

1. Dystopia Et Disturbia
2. Volcanus
3. Irreversible
4. Terra Incognita
5. The Black Room
6. Chamaelicon Bizarre
7. The New Acid Bath
8. Jythand

The 3rd album by Tristwood, featuring Mastic Scum's vocalist and ex-members of December and Dawn Of Dreams, was sent to me by the band itself. This entire record just doesn't ever slow down, most of it being an brutal slab of guttural growls, blast-beats and fast tremolo riffing. The industrial aspect of this record is used very sparingly and it's effective. It's a simple formula done very right. Amazing!

10. Rosa Riese
11. The Son Of Sam
12. Are We Not Men?
13. 25
14. Cromwell Street

2nd album by Postmortem. The band is displaying a primitive form of death'n'roll with some thrash elements. The lyrics are humorous and about serial killers. Groovy in times, brutal and not much technical , it is simply a solid and entertaining release.

Demon - The Unexpected Guest

Genre: NWOBHM/Hard Rock
Country: England
Year: 1982

1. Intro: An Observation
2. Don’t Break The Circle
3. The Spell
4. Total Possession
5. Sign Of A Madman
6. Victim Of Fortune
7. Have We Been Here Before?
8. Strange Institution
9. The Grand Illusion
10. Beyond The Gates
11. Deliver Us From Evil

2nd album by Demon. Even though Demon is a band of NWOBHM, their music has not narrow musical frontiers and is not pressed by any rules of the genre. There are times where they play melodic heavy metal, with deep sound and there are times when they play simple, clear rock'n'roll. All the songs have an occult and mystical atmosphere.

2nd album by Lock Up. Tomas Lindberg replaced Peter Tagtgren and the whole lineup seems more tight than their debut. A killer homage to old school grindcore/death. The production is clean, but always with a foot in the past.

Black Breath - Razor To Oblivion 'Ep

Genre: Crust/Hardcore/Death
Country: U.S.A.
Year: 2008

1. Razor To Oblivion
2. Fatal Error
3. Beneath The Crust
4. Murder

The first try by Black Breath, really shocked the underground. Actually it is 15 minutes of totally facemelting and to all intents and purposes perfect black-crusted hardcore/heavy metal. It take a lot of different sounds and melt them into a brutal attack. The results is a solid kick in the head. There is no messing around here, just straight ahead, skull-crushing assault.

Gorefest - Erase

Genre: Death'n'Roll
Country: Holland
Year: 1994

1. Low
2. Erase
3. I Walk My Way
4. Fear
5. Seeds Of Hate
6. Peace Of Paper
7. Goddess In Black
8. To Hell And Back
9. Raven
10. Horrors 94

3rd album by Gorefest. It is the link between the first two eras of the band, the pure death metal one and the death'n'roll/hard rock one. This record still has brutality and agression but in a more slower form. It mainly consists of slow and mid-tempo songs and although there is an up-tempo part to be found now and then, Gorefest never really hit the gas.

Malevolent Creation - Retribution

Genre: Death
Country: U.S.A.
Year: 1992

4. Coronation Of Our Domain
5. No Flesh Shall Be Spared
6. The Coldest Survive
7. Monster
8. Mindlock
9. Iced

2nd album by Malevolent Creation. The production is perfect, clean and crisp, and the music is much more mature than the debut, both in the songwriting and composition. The album features slow to mid paced songs to faster songs. Simply put this record is a brutal Floridian death metal classic.

Meshuggah - Contradictions Collapse

Genre: Techn.Thrash
Country: Sweden
Year: 1991

1. Paralyzing Ignorance
2. Erroneous Manipulation
3. Abnegating Cecity
4. Internal Evidence
5. Qualms Of Reality
6. We'll Never See The Day
7. Greed
8. Choirs Of Devastation

Debut album by Meshuggah. It is certainly heavily influenced by old Metallica, but still shows the unconventional time signatures, that the band would become known for on subsequent releases. The music is spastic, grinding and stomping, as compared to later works which are more robotic and groovy in comparison. The tecnical level is very high, the production is good, but not outstanding.

Dismember - Hate Campaign

Genre: Death
Country: Sweden
Year: 2000

1. Suicidal Revelations
2. Questionable Ethics
3. Beyond Good And Evil
4. Retaliate
5. Enslaved To Bitterness
6. Mutual Animosity
7. Patrol 17
8. Thanatology
9. Bleeding Over
10. In Death's Cold Embrace
11. Hate Campaign

5th album by Dismember. It is a solid death metal album, but ... The band just doesn't seem to have much energy or creativity on this album, as it's simply not memorable. The things that hurt the album the most are Karki's vocals and the lyrics, which both seem to have lost a ton of the misanthropic nature that they once possessed.
