Debut album by Forté. This is pure, mayhemic technical thrash with a talented singer leading the way. Beyond the sheer speed and technicality on display, it has a decidedly melodic aspect, making it more than just a shred-fest. Vocalist James Randel (previously with Oliver Magnum) has a voice that could go from the typical sharp thrash style to a powerful high-pitched wail when necessary.

Bell, Dino Cazares and Raymond Herrera with producer Colin Richardson bring to the surface an extremely intense and powerful album with a particular structure and sound. It’s clearly heavily influenced by early grindcore and doom bands. The vocals are not all growled on the album, as the singer actually put in some diverse melodic vocals in certain parts of the tracks.
