17th album by Running Wild. It has its moments and it’s a decent, honest album. This is much more entertaining than I expected and there are enough classic moments to satisfy fans. It doesn’t hold a candle to Running Wild’s classic records so it’s definitely not the best in their extensive and winning career, but it’s a good album.

15th album Running Wild. Personally speaking, it is Rolf's best release since 'Victory'. The mistakes of the previous release have been fixed, so, better production, more metal sound and slightly more complex songs. Nevertheless, pretty standard songwritting, with 4-5 songs shining and the rest just filling the album!

6th album by Running Wild. This time, Rock 'n' Rolf decided to speed things up without sacrificing the melody of the two previous albums. The classic heavy metal vibe is still very much there, but packed in there we have tons of speed metal riffs and leads and there are also some definite power metal influences found on here.

14th album by Running Wild. Worst cover ever! Worst sound ever! The sound is not at all heavy, on the contrary it is very weak, plastic and hard rock. The album cannot stand next to their older releases (in my opinion it is slightly better than the 'Rogues En Vogue'), but it has some good songs and an excellent hymn 'Dracula', that especially after repetitive listenings they can entertain you. If only the production was more heavier, the album could give more positive results.

5th album by Running Wild. It is built on a core of traditional heavy metal, but with elements of speed and power creating atmosphere and power far surpassing the two previous albums. The songs are catchy in a very sing-along way, which combined with the up-tempo pace, makes for an incredibly fun listen. The music is without a doubt more melodic than their previous releases and the top-notch production highlights this superbly.

Running Wild's 4th studio album, and the second pirate-inspired album, is yet another classic metal album. This album leans more in the heavy / power direction than their previous releases. The songwriting is pretty similar to 'Under Jolly Roger',  but obviously much more melodic.

Raw but catchy vocals, raw guitarwork with some unbelievable melodic material on the solos, pretty standard but very effective and heavy drumming and a powerful bass which is just loud enough. This is their first release referring to pirate theme.

2nd album by Running Wild. It is the last album that is not occupied with piracy. With the addition of Majk Moti the whole band’s instrumentation has been notably improved. Now the tone is a little more like dirty, edgy heavy/speed metal with even more momentous sections, riffs, solos and Rolf topping it all with his wicked snarls. It is a mix of speedy and slow tracks, with really simplistic riffing and structures.

Debut album by Running Wild. It is a good mix of heavy and speed metal. It varies nicely between uptempo thrashing and midtempo grooves, sparked with ingeniously composed little solos, mostly short, but sometimes long, and always spot on. They haven't got the pirate style yet.

Black Hand Inn proves why Running Wild is one of the best metal bands around.
