The actual metal part of this music is a mix of In Flames and Dark Tranquillity and hits that midway mark between melody and brutality. Slania is, in many ways, the fulfillment of Eluveitie’s vision and they add their very own distinctive elements throughout the album.

3rd album by Heathen, 18 years after their last one. Their style is still almost a marriage between thrash and 80's US power metal, a blend of aggression mixed with some catchy melody. The songs are long and multilayered, the musicianship is ultra-tight and tastefully employed, and David White sounds better than maybe he ever has. The band demonstrates a mastery of incredible riffs and interesting dynamics.

Clean vocals, distorted clean vocals, death growls and black metal shrieks compose the scenery.

2nd album by Demiricous. The sound is quite polished and aggressive enough, flirting a little with death metal but without really getting there. Pounding double drums, constant rhythm, sudden breaks and switches into lightning fast, blazing guitar solos and howling screaming vocals, what else do you want? You get both heavy mid-paced riffing, faster paced riffing and even the occassional blast beat.

3rd album by Zeke and my favorite one. They were described as chainsaw punk rock played with a MC5 / Motorhead attitude. 17 songs in 20 minutes, of dirty punk rock mixed with rock'n'roll. Zeke knows but one drum pattern, that is either fast or mid paced. The guitars are heavy distorted punk riffs over a screamed and yelled vocalist.

First try by Diamond Plate. The average age of the band when this 'Ep was released was around 15, although their age didn't affect the maturity of these songs. There are absolutely no modern influences to be found. Free of the irony and jokiness that characterize most modern thrash, this savage little record is pure headbanging havoc.
