2nd album by Buffalo. Largely unrecognised within the australian music scene, Buffalo was possibly Australia's first heavy metal band. Overall, the band's sound is comparable to Black Sabbath, whom they supported during an early 1970s tour. The band incorporated strong influences of blues-rock and progressive rock with a heavy/stoner vibe in their music and artwork that was strictly censored.

2nd album by Exhorder. Perfect early '90s production backs up every winning number on here. The song structures are also a bit more simplified than on 'Slaughter in the Vatican', but no less enjoyable. Although this album makes attempts to blend both the pure thrash fury of its debut and the more mid-tempo groove that thrash had been hinting at, there are a few pure manifestations of both genres.

Great 'Ep by Bent Sea. It is the brainchild of drummer/guitarist Dirk Verbeuren, known for his work with among others Scarve, Soilwork and Aborted. For this release he has recruited Aborted frontman Sven de Caluwe to provide vocals and Devin Townsend to lay down the basslines. Lots of blast beats and aggressive hardcore punked riffs. Basically old school grindcore in the tradition of Terrorizer and Repulsion with a few twists and turns that keep it sounding fresh.
