4th album by Arkham Witch, 7 years after their last one. Their epic metal has definitely a punkish influence and thrashy riffs, but the melodies are dark and moody and have references to obscure metal acts such as Cirith Ungol, Lucifer’s Fall, Hell and Manilla Road. There’s a variety of styles and sub genres and their guitars flirt with upbeat tempos despite the doom origins.

2nd album by Arkham Witch. The high quality of the artwork perfectly fits with the Lovecraftian horror-concept around which the band revolves. Musically this album treads an interesting combination of traditional heavy metal, NWOBHM and some late seventies inspired doom metal too. The tracks are riff based and generally heavy as hell, but with a great mid-paced organic groove.
