Warlord U.K. - Maximum Carnage

Genre: Death
Country: England
Year: 1996

1. Maximum Carnage
2. Disintegration
3. No Where To Run
4. Change
5. Alien Dictator

8. Race War
9. Nobody's Driving (Amebix cover)
10. Chain Reaction (Amebix cover)
11. Raining Blood (Slayer cover)

Debut album by Warlord U.K. They perform a deep and thick blend of death metal with some thrash elements here and there, which feels like a midpoint between late '80s Sepultura and the more brutal fare of their countrymen Benediction and Bolt Thrower. Dave Ingram of Benediction even adds guest vocals to several of the tracks.

Bathory - Under The Sign Of Black Mark

Genre: Black
Country: Sweden
Year: 1987

1. Nocturnal Obeisance (Intro)
2. Massacre
3. Woman Of Dark Desires
4. Call From The Grave
5. Equimanthorn
6. Enter The Eternal Fire
7. Chariots Of Fire
8. 13 Candles
9. Of Doom...
10. Outro

3rd album by Bathory. This, most definitely, is one of the most important and influential black metal releases in the history of metal. All the hallmarks that have become part of the modern black metal movement are there: the blazing fast tempos, the primitive production values, the not so good yet compelling musicianship...it's all there. This album is a great example of how unusual production can work very well in some cases, as the screaming and the guitars sound very sinister buried in the mix.

Terrorizer - Hordes Of Zombies

Genre: Grindcore/Death
Country: U.S.A.
Year: 2012

1. Intro
2. Hordes Of Zombies
3. Ignorance And Apathy
4. Subterfuge
5. Evolving Era
6. Radiation Syndrome
7. Flesh To Dust

10. Prospect Of Oblivion
11. Malevolent Ghosts
12. Forward To Annihilation
13. State Of Mind
14. A Dying Breed

3rd album by Terrorizer, 6 years after their last one. Pete Sandoval has Dave Vincent in his side this time, Wolf aka Anthony Rezhawk on vocals and the female guitarist Katina Culture, both members of crust/grinders Resistant Culture. Blast beats galore, D-Beat rhythms, interesting guitar riffs with solos that further grasp the listener and of course lyrics about the zombie apocalypse. It's much more brutal than their 2nd release, but don't compare it with 'World Downfall'!

The Clan Destined - In The Big Ending ... (Demo)

Genre: Thrash/Heavy/Pagan
Country: England
Year: 2004

1. Swinging Like Judas
2. I Am Because We Are
3. T.C. Lethbridge (Julian Cope cover)
4. A Beautiful Start To The End Of The World
5. Devil For A Day
6. More Than War

This is a 6-track demo by The Clan Destined. A project band consisted of Martin Walkyier (Sabbat, ex-Skyclad), Iscariah (Dead To This World, ex-Immortal, etc.), Jay Graham (ex-Skyclad), Lee Cassidy and a lot of guest/session musicians. The band is offering us some fairly straight up heavy metal with a certain thrashy touch, with some nice keyboards and female vocals. The band split-up after this recording and never managed to release it through a label, but done it self-financed and self-released. It is also produced by Andy Sneap and James Murphy and has been adorned by lead guitar work by both of them.

11. Where Life Ends

Debut album by Unleashed. With their crystal-clear sound they nicely differed from the crunchy sound of the Sunlight-productions. Great, simple but effective riffs played with passion, powerful vocals and everything in it's proper place. A classic, raw, rough, old-school death metal album.

8th album by Asphyx. They are back, 3 years after their last record, with a death metal holocaust. Probably, one of the best death metal albums for 2012, and one of their best efforts ever. Doomy elements are present, but most obvious are the death metal elements. Everything is setup geniously perfect. Just listen and rot!

Enslaved - Blodhemn

Genre: Black/Viking
Country: Norway
Year: 1998

1. Intro. "Audhumla: Birth Of The Worlds"
2. I Lenker Til Ragnarok (In Chains Until Ragnarok)
3. Urtical Gods
4. Ansuz Astral

7. Blodhemn (Vengeance In Blood)
8. Brisinghamen
9. Suttungs Mjod (Suttungs Mead) / Perkulator (outro)

4th album by Enslaved. It’s deeply rooted in the harsh, viking-themed metal of its three predecessors, but it's showing progressive intentions. This album is consistently fast and takes a few listens to keep track of what’s going on. The vocals are excellently done, ranging from shrieks to melodic singing, which, combined with the catchy riffs, give off a viking feel.

15. Opposite Repellent
16. A Gag Reflex

14th album by Napalm Death. They didn’t go for any major stylistic changes, yet they managed to add enough new elements to their familiar sound to keep things fresh and exciting. It’s still Napalm Death at its core, but the band are willing to step out of the room every few minutes and try something else. So, there are saxophone parts, ambient parts, clean vocals, chants, synths hidden all over, waiting for you to discover them!

Fist - Back With A Vengeance

Genre: NWOBHM
Country: England
Year: 1982

1. Turn The Hell On
2. S.S. Giro
3. Too Hot
4. Lost And Found
5. The Feeling's Right
6. Dog Soldier
7. All I Can Do
8. Devil Rise
9. Going Wild Tonight

The 2nd album by Fist came with a lot of changes compared to their debut. They've changed their logo and only drummer Harry Hill and guitarist Dave Irwin remained from the first record. New vocalist Glen Coates brought a totally different singing style to the band and, in general, this was a more crappy record. Nevertheless, the band managed to produce a very solid and classic record.
