3rd album by Seance, 16 years after their last one. The vocals as rough as they should be, while the songwriting itself just demands repeat listening. This is brutal without being blasty and melodic without being melodeath by any stretch. Overall the sound is much more modern, but still just raw and sick enough.

The production remains gritty and hoarse and the sound is still a mix of dense, atmospheric and relentless, grinding riffs. Fans of the band’s earlier, more traditional work will dig it. There’s a bit of experimentation here as well, so fans of Assassins and Addicts should be able to find something they like as well.

26th album by Loudness. A really entertaining release of pure heavy metal, with a modern sound and passion by the japanese legends. Takasaki’s solos are stunning and brilliant as one would expect from him and he’s returned to a more shred style of playing again. Niihara’s voice is just as strong as ever as well.
