Debut album by Cancer. Most of the songs meander along a mid-pace level, with a few occasional fast breaks and the riffs are purely old school and non-technical. Into their simplistic style add some thrash elements here and there and what you have is pure old school death/thrash in your face. Catchy, simplistic, true with eerie vocal delivery.

Bludvera have made an 'Ep that throws them in the category of supreme english thrash metal. Clayton's vocal performance on this 'Ep is fantastic and a real highlight. The riffs for the most part are fast, but there are some great midpaced riffs to be found throughout. Enough technical to be amusing, clear production, tight musicianship, creating a solid and honest thrash attack.

The band has taken extreme metal elements of death and doom and blended them with the precision and experimental power of 70s progressive rock, and then also added a fair touch of folk to the mix. The songs are even more epic in nature and they seem more full than their debut.

This is the self-released debut album by Suidakra. It blends elements of medieval/epic, melodic death and black metal quite nicely. The clean male and female vocal work does offer a somewhat melancholy gothic tinge to what is otherwise a very epic and aggressive offering. The production is a bit raw, but it delivers the medieval feeling very well.

The 2nd album by Satyros, was sent to us by the band itself. They blend influences ranging from symphonic black metal to more melodic death metal. Their music is much closer to melodic black metal or even melodic death metal than traditional black metal. A pretty solid work with nice sound and some interesting ideas.

The band’s sound is very rich and presents us with a very interesting atmosphere created by the distorted guitars and a cretan lyra, which gives the band that folkish sound, but with a distinctive black metal edge. The overall musical composition of the songs features a wide variety of changes as well as keyboard arrangements that takes the band’s sound to a whole different level. Vocal wise, the band utilizes the traditional harsh vocals, but also combine clean vocals.

5th album by Accept. The album in general is pretty groovy and catchy, generally going on at midpaced speed. The force of this album resides in the solid song structures and the excellent riffs. The sound quality of this album, produced by the band and mixed by Michael Wagener is still remarkable. The lyrics were credited to the alias "Deaffy" which was revealed many years later to be Gaby Hauke, the band's manager and also Wolf Hoffman's wife.
