Debut album by Armor Column, that contains 4 older songs (from their 2009 'Ep) and 4 new ones. Aggressive thrash/speed with amazing vocal capabilities, great riffs and melodies. Dark Angel - We Have Arrived

Genre: Thrash
Country: U.S.A.
Year: 1984

1. We Have Arrived
2. Merciless Death
3. Falling From The Sky
4. Welcome To The Slaughter House
5. No Tomorrow
6. Hell's On Its Knees
7. Vendetta

There are actually many good points in Dark Angel's debut even though the album as a whole is not exactly a masterpiece. For such an early recording, the production is very decent and clear. The band had all the right elements in the beginning, including some tight and fast playing, powerful riffs and a good deal of aggressive attitude. Don Doty's powerful vocals also fit the raw sound very well.

Coroner - R.I.P.

Genre: Techn. Thrash
Country: Switzerland
Year: 1987

1. Intro
2. Reborn Through Hate
3. When Angels Die
4. Intro (Nosferatu)
5. Nosferatu
6. Suicide Command
7. R.I.P.
8. Coma
9. Fried Alive
10. Intro (Totentanz)
11. Totentanz
12. Outro

Debut album by Coroner. It was already a surprisingly characteristic release that immediately introduced the typical Coroner sound that is very heavy, not exactly the fastest around but more technical than in your average band. With very heavy vocals and decent speed, the music is convincing enough and does not wander too deep into the progressive territory.

Agent Steel - Skeptics Apocalypse

Genre: Speed/Thrash/Power
Country: U.S.A.
Year: 1985

1. The Calling
2. Agents Of Steel
3. Taken By Force
4. Evil Eye/Evil Minds
5. Bleed For The Godz
6. Children Of the Sun
7. 144,000 Gone
8. Guilty As Charged
9. Back To Reign

Debut album by Agent Steel, one of the most classic speed metal groups in the '80s. It has a certain raw edge over the band's later recordings, which gives this album some additional boost. The album is well balanced, but the best songs are still concentrated in the first half of it. The first thing you'll notice will probably be the vocal performance of the mad screamer, Cyriis.

Necrophagia - Deathtrip 69

Genre: Death
Country: U.S.A.
Year: 2011

1. Naturan Demonto
2. Beast With Feral Claws
3. Tomb With A View
4. Suffering Comes In Sixes
5. A Funeral For Solange
6. Kyra
7. Bleeding Eyes Of The Eternally Damned
8. Trick R' Treat (The Last Halloween)
9. Deathtrip 69
10. Death Valley

6th album by Necrophagia. Except for the polished production, not a whole lot has changed in their camp. Their chugging guitars, old-school keyboards, death-machine beats, horror-movie samples and ghoulish lyrics haven't changed a bit. They've stayed faithful to their themes and concepts, basing their songs on well-known horror classics and obscure grindhouse gems.

Khors - Cold

Genre: Black
Country: Ukraine
Year: 2006

1. Cold
2. Ashes
3. Garnet
4. Misery
5. Concious Burning
6. Whispers
7. In The Depths Of The Black Hills
8. The Abyss

2nd album by Khors. The band mixes the styles of countrymates Nokturnal Mortum and Drudkh to create some good quality atmospheric black metal. It is overall a rather melodic, slow to mid-paced proposition with a cold, melancholic atmosphere.

Lich King - Necromantic Maelstrom

Genre: Thrash
Country: U.S.A.
Year: 2007

1. Lich King
2. Caveman Aggression
3. Mascot War
4. Reavers
5. Bleeding And Screaming
6. The Werewolf
7. Thrashssacre
8. Kill Your Guts Out
9. Bodies On Bodies (Vio-lence cover)
10. A Lesson In Violence (Exodus cover)

Debut album by Lich King. They successfully manage to create some serious music while retaining a sense of humor. They mix up their riffs pretty well and thankfully don’t feel overly repetitive and monotonous. The only problem might be in the vocals and drumming sound, that are a lil bit weird, but after the 2nd song you'll get used to them.

Horned Almighty - Necro Spirituals

Genre: Black
Country: Denmark
Year: 2010

1. Necro Spirituals
2. Fountain of a Thousand Plagues
3. Sworn Divine Vengeance
4. Age Of Scorn
5. In Jubilation and Disgust
6. Blessing the World In Pestilence
7. The Illuminated Void
8. Blasphemous Burden
9. Absolved In The Sight Of God

4th album by Horned Almighty. While blackened at the core, Horned Almighty’s style is straightforward, percussive and brutal, raging forward with punk-fueled hatred. The vocals are borderline raspy to guttural. Guitars are mostly midpaced to fast raw black metal riffs that take alot of thrash and punk influences. The drums constantly jump tracks between classic punk, grind, and black metal rhythms, while the bass guitar hits like pulled teeth, lending a gritty thickness to the black metal song structures.

With themes about folklore in general and lyrics in dutch and english, they are delivering an enjoyable album full of folkish melodies and party/beer atmosphere.

Zimmers Hole - When You Were Shouting At The Devil ... We Were In League With Satan

Genre: Thrash/Power/Death
Country: Canada
Year: 2008

1. When You Were Shouting At The Devil...We Were In League With Satan
2. We Rule The Fucking Land
3. Flight Of The Knight Bat

7. Fista Corpse
8. Anonymous Esophagus
9. Alright
10. Hair Doesn't Grow On Steel
11. What's My Name...Evil!

3rd album by Zimmers Hole, a group that is actually Strapping Young Lad minus Devin Townsend and in his place a vocalist “The Heathen”, who manages death metal growls, hardcore screams and 80s style howls perfectly. SYL’s patented ‘cyber thrashing’ can be heard through out, as well as plenty of gnarly groove, and they inject a good portion of power/traditional metal and some death growls to give them their own feel. A perfect, humorous and interesting album.

Country: U.S.A.
Year: 2009

1. Speedwolf

Amazing demo tape by Speedwolf. Vocally they remind a mix of Motorhead/Misfits/High On Fire and musically they play a perfect blend of thrashy punk with fast heavy metal. I'm sure these 4 songs will make you want more! Enjoy!
