Debut album by Thyrfing. An absolutely pervasive viking atmosphere is present throughout, with wonderful melodies (mostly presented in the synth lines) and a mix of black metal rasps with Bathory-esque viking choir sections. The guitar is buried in the mix by the keyboards and the vocals, without ruining the whole result of this release.
