22nd album by Darkthrone. Faithful to the duo’s “monumentally primitive” approach to metal, the album keeps the dirty, earthy production style that listeners have come to expect. The record sounds harsh, raw as fuck, filthy and very much “palaiolithic”, with clear traces of 1980s heavy metal and doom-heavy riffing.
