Debut album by Svartsot, a band of talented musicians who handle, besides the dynamic metallic trio, more organic and traditional instruments like mandolin, acoustic guitars, percussions and flutes. The vocals of are of the beastie growls type with occasional rasps. Two guitar players account for a very heavy and crunchy wall of riffing and folksy leads whereas strong bass and muscular drumming beat the viking pulse.
