On a death metal album where the shortest song clocks in at 6 minutes and 27 seconds, there are several effective tempo changes and mid-song left turns that both surprise and delight. This is a rumbling, rotten, and thoroughly old-school record loaded with lethal riffs, morbid atmospheres, and some punkish energy to get the zombies dancing.

Not only are the riffs on this album monstrous but the drums, played by Ed Warby (Ayreon, ex-Gorefest), are one of the highlights of this second record. A killer death metal release that can easily earn a place in my top albums for 2020.
