A fine 'Ep by Grotesquary. Old school death metal blended with some great thrash moments. Nice riffing, great downtuned guitarwork and raw, nasty vocals. It surely worths a listen  and makes me waiting for the full length.

Debut album by Heretique. Morbid Angel and Carcass are a huge influence on these guys although they made sure they don’t sound like a cheap copy. The album has absolutely sordid and hefty moments of pure battering thrash madness and stomping death/thrash brilliance.

3rd album by Exumer, 25 years after their first split-up. They have two members from the old days with guitarist Ray Mensh and Mem Von Stein, rounding by bassist Tony Shiavo, guitarist H.K. and drummer Matthias Kassner. The album has a clear no bullshit approach and gets straight down to some hardline thrash. Primitive, aggressive and ugly it's a great comeback album.

4th album by Forbidden. This album is not like the previous albums at all, the band is more focused on slower paces than before and the sound is wierder. The vocals are distorted in places and a little forced at times, but not in a bad way. The guitars are pretty dense but the general heaviness is quite weak.

3rd album by Benediction, featuring raw guttural vocals, simple yet very effective drum patterns and razor-sharp guitar riffs. Alternating between slow, at times almost doom-like tracks and fast thrashers, as well as throwing in lots of well-placed breaks during most of the songs, the band succeeds in keeping things interesting. It isn’t really melodic, but most of the riffs do drench themselves in a gutless veil of thrashy catchiness.

Debut album by Merciless Death. Super catchy trash metal. Raging and relentless. The album is only 25 minutes long, but what a ride. The music barely gives you time to take a breath, it's fast, heavy and nails you to the ground to the very last second, while the vocalist does thrash vocals the right way - clear, loud, yet harsh and aggressive, without forgetting the occasional high pitched scream. A heavy Kreator influence and definite early Slayer.
